What we do
Engine machine services
We are a dedicated automotive machine shop. Everything we do is engine work — for cars, light and large trucks, diesel, industrial equipment, farm tractors and motorcycles. That includes valve seat and guide work, rotating assembly balancing, and lathe work.

Champion Automotive Machine Shop is a family-run machine shop in Enterprise, Alabama, owned and operated by John Potts. Since 2016 we've rebuilt and reconditioned engines for drivers, farmers, fleets and repair shops across the Wiregrass — restoring performance and reliability with careful, measured machine work.

Automotive, light and large truck, diesel, industrial, farm tractor and motorcycle engines. We are a machine shop — we do engine machine work only, not oil changes, tires or general repair.

Yes. All machine work is guaranteed to your satisfaction. If something isn't right, we make it right.
How long have you been in business?
We opened our doors on January 1, 2016 and bring over 10 years of hands-on engine machining experience to every job.
Can you save a block that another shop said was scrap?
Often, yes. Sleeving, line boring and surfacing can bring a worn or damaged block back into spec. Bring it by and we'll give you an honest assessment.
